Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 December, the Creative Union of Filmmakers of Uzbekistan held a solemn ceremony of presenting the national film award "Oltin Humo". The event took place at the House of Cinematographers. Before the start, the stars and filmmakers walked the traditional red carpet.

In the initial part of the event, guests were shown a special video dedicated to the work done in the field of cinematography. Then Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, Director General of the Cinematography Agency Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Chairman of the Creative Union of Filmmakers Matyoqokub Matchanov made a welcoming speech and congratulated the event participants on the holiday.

During the event, participants and guests honored the memory of the Uzbek cinema figures who passed away. Then guests from the CIS countries were introduced to the audience.

People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Farrukh Zakirov remembered his film career and delighted the guests with a song for the film "Temir Khotin".

After that, the Minister of Culture, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov performed a song called "Sanatdan bakhtini topganlar".

Best Makeup Artist - Zilola Sobirova for the film "Ilhak"

The best work of a costume designer - Zukhra Ganieva for the film "Ilhak",

The best work of the production designer - Isobek Egamberdiev for the film "Shamoli Kukon"

The best sound engineer - Anvar Fayzullaev for the film "Ilhak"

Best Screenplay - Umid Khamdamov for the film "Rangsiz Tushlar"

Best Cinematography - Jakhongir Ibragimov for the film "Ilhak"

Best Director’s Work - Ayub Shakhobiddinov for the film "Rangsiz Tushlar"

Best Actress - Dilorom Karimova for the film "Ilhak"

The best film of the year is Ilhak, directed by Jakhongir Akhmedov.
