Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 February, in the Scientific Library of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ceremony was held to transfer 50 volumes of the series “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Collections of the World” to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of WOSCU together with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev presented a set of 50 volumes of the series “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the World’s Collections” to the Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aibek Sydykov. Also during the meeting, the author of more than 500 scientific works published in 10 languages, academician and professor Zhaken Taimagambetov made a speech.

Last year, part of the collection of museums in Kazakhstan, including the State Museum of Arts named after Abylkhan Kasteev, related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, was reflected in the publications “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Museums of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan” and “Collection of the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Abylkhan Kasteev " Such joint projects will continue in the future.
