Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 February 2020, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi together with the Institute for Research and Information Systems for Developing Countries of India organized a round table on the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on 5-6 March.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, business, analysts and journalists.

The participants were thoroughly acquainted with the agenda and program of the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum. During the event, leading Indian businessmen and representatives shared information on the potential for trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and India, and promising investment projects.

The round table participants were particularly interested in the tasks indicated in the Address by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Oliy Majlis, such as the development of the digital economy, the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies, and the reform of the education system.
