Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A road accident involving a passenger bus and a truck occurred in Syrdarya region, resulting in the overturning of the bus.

According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Syrdarya region’s Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident took place on 28 June at 12:30 PM local time on the 83rd kilometer of the M-34 highway, passing through the "Ziyokor" mahalla of Syrdarya district.

A Isuzu truck collided with the rear part of the passenger bus, which had stopped on the roadside to disembark passengers.

As a result of the collision, the bus overturned.

One of the bus passengers sustained injuries and received medical assistance.

A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway regarding the incident.
