Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz ) – The Embassy of Uzbekistan held a presentation of the investment and tourism potential of our country in Hong Kong, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event was attended by heads and representatives of the Chinese Center for International Cultural Relations, the Hong Kong Federation of Industry and Trade, as well as more than 60 industrial, trade and tourism companies.

The participants were provided with detailed information and audio-visual presentations about entrepreneurship and business opportunities in our country, benefits and favorable conditions for foreign investors. The event also included a comprehensive exchange of views on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and prospects for mutual cooperation in this area.

The participants of the presentation expressed great interest in the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, investment, business and tourism opportunities of our country.

- Bilateral relations between our countries are developing rapidly in all spheres today. The China–Central Asia Summit held in Xi’an in May, as well as bilateral and multilateral agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to China, raised the Chinese-Uzbek cooperation in trade, economy, culture, science and technology to a new level. In turn, our center is ready to contribute to the expansion and strengthening of cultural and tourist ties between the two countries.

We, entrepreneurs, are interested in expanding comprehensive relations between China and Uzbekistan.

- At today’s event, I received additional information about the opportunities created for Chinese investors in Uzbekistan. Our company is interested in importing agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan to the Chinese market. In particular, the issue of production of various products by processing organic fruits and vegetables grown in Uzbekistan is being considered. This year we plan to go to Uzbekistan to study the market of your country more widely.
