Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A plant for the production of building materials and a logistics service will be created in Andijan region.

Khokim of Andijan region Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov held negotiations with representatives of Zhejiang Tongli Heavy Machinery Co., LTD and Keda Industry Group Co., LTD.

An agreement worth US$300 million was signed with these companies to launch a plant for the production of construction materials in the Bulokbashi district.

As part of the project, it is planned to produce 18 million square meters of porcelain stoneware, 750,000 tons of lime and 100 million pieces of polypropylene bags.

A logistics service for 300 trucks will also be created.

As a result of the launch of the project, 2,180 new jobs will be created in the Bulokbashi district.
