Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A number of managers of the Uzbek energy sector have been reprimanded for shortcomings in their work. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

On 7 December, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan held a meeting of a special headquarters to prepare for the autumn-winter period with the participation of khokimiyats, prosecutors and heads of industry enterprises.

The participants considered the current problems in the provision of energy resources and ways to solve them.

At the meeting, some responsible managers were reprimanded for shortcomings in their work.

In particular, Dadajon Isakulov, Chairman of the Board of National Electric Grids JSC, was reprimanded for shortcomings in his work.

Also, a reprimand was issued to the first deputy chairman of the board of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" Ruzikul Rayimov, the director of the branch "Kashkadarya Enterprise of Regional Electric Networks" Anvar Muzapov and the director of the enterprise "Toshshakharnur" Ulugbek Rajabov.
