Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Russian-Uzbek joint venture Asadbek Glass Fiber specializing in the production of textile fiberglass, has officially opened in Uzbekistan.

The grand opening ceremony was attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Nizam Khalilov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Dagestan, and investor Patahudine Magomedov.

The new facility focuses on the production of stage-textile fiberglass, with products that meet the Russian GOST standards, ensuring high quality and compliance with international requirements.

Raw materials for production will be supplied by the Russian company "Caspian Glass LLC," part of the "Caspian Composite" group. This company also provided specialized equipment to localize the production of fiberglass fabrics and mesh.

The Dagestani side invested approximately 50 million rubles into the establishment of the production facility, while Uzbek partners contributed 6.8 billion Uzbek soums (approximately 47 million rubles).

The company’s planned monthly production volume is 20 million rubles. Additionally, 28 employees from Uzbekistan underwent training at the "KZS" facility in the Republic of Dagestan to operate the new production line.
