Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the expense of ADB funds, a project is being implemented to reconstruct a section of the 4R105 Darband-Boysun-Elbayon highway with a length of 5-70 km (65 km) and a section 4R100 Manguzar - Jarkurgan - Bandikhon - Altynsay - Denov » with a length of 128-174 km (46 km) in Surkhandarya region. The total length of the road to be reconstructed under the project will be 111 km.

Upon completion of the reconstruction of these highways, the international highways M39 and M41 passing through the territory of Surkhandarya region will be merged, which will reduce by 146 km the 298 km road available for international and local road carriers, carrying out transportation to Tashkent.
