Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law, which amended the Law "On State Pension Provision of Citizens"

In accordance with the amendments, it was established that the increase in pensions for the loss of a breadwinner for children who have lost their father and mother (round orphans) is made up to 12 times the amount of the basic amount of the calculation of the pension, accrued on the basis of the total wages of the father and mother. Previously, this payment was 10 times the basic size of the pension calculation.

Also, the maximum amount of wages for calculating a pension is increased from 10 times to 12 times the size of the base amount for calculating a pension.

These regulations will come into force on 1 January 2023.

At present the size of the base value of the calculation of pensions in Uzbekistan is 324,000 soums.
