Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with Research Institute Polyus named after F. Stelmakh in Mirzachulsky district, an investment project for the production of automated water treatment systems, water storage and water supply is being successfully implemented. With the support of Russian experts and the Digital Trust Foundation, the first pilot batch of water treatment systems was manufactured.

In order to further expand the cooperation of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Scientific Research Institute Polyus named after F. Stelmakh ”a meeting was held in Moscow, within the framework of which the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in support of scientific and technological development and the introduction of digital and smart technologies in:

- housing and communal services;

- energy saving and energy efficiency in industry;

- ensuring the safety of roads and road infrastructure;

- healthcare;

- laser and intellectual-optical instrument making.

In particular, it is planned to study in detail the possibility of using and localizing the systems of dynamic weighing of heavy and bulky vehicles mastered at the enterprise, equipment for photo and video recording violations of traffic rules. A separate area for cooperation may be telemedicine.

Joint Stock Company "Research Institute" Polyus "named after M.F. Stelmakh "is a leading scientific center of Russia in the field of laser technology. It is part of the Shvabe holding of the Rostec State Corporation. Among the institute’s staff are 2 academicians, 15 doctors of sciences (including 10 professors), more than 70 candidates of sciences, 20 graduate students and applicants.

The Agency’s leadership was shown the latest developments of the Polyus Research Institute. As a result of the meeting, a decision was made on direct cooperation and joint activities between JSC NII Polyus im. F. Stelmakh and the Digital Trust Foundation.
