Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation from Uzbekistan, including representatives of the Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari, Uzsanoatkurilishbank and other industry-related structures, is currently in South Korea, Dunyo news agency reported.

At a meeting at the Organization of Coordinated Laboratories of the Republic of Korea (KML), members of the delegation became familiar with the quality of building materials and the activities of the testing laboratory.

As a result of negotiations between the Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari and KML, a memorandum of cooperation was signed on the creation of a testing laboratory.

After the creation of a modern laboratory, it is planned to test about 300 quality indicators of more than 30 types of building materials in accordance with international standards.

KML is a leading provider of testing and certification services to the building materials and other industries in South Korea, with approximately 20 testing laboratories in the country and offices in 6 countries worldwide. The organization serves about 30 thousand clients and has almost a thousand highly qualified specialists.

During the meeting, a long-term work plan was highlighted aimed at further developing international relations in the production of building materials in Uzbekistan.

It is planned to attract advanced technologies and create opportunities for laboratory testing of various types of products, including kaolin raw materials.
