Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the Regulations on the procedure for accepting, considering photographs and (or) video recordings of offenses related to violation of the rules for the use of electrical, thermal energy and gas, as well as incentives for those who provided them” was adopted, Norma reports.

For public control over the rational use of fuel and energy resources, a mobile application “Uzenergo” is being created.

For reference: it has been established that from 1 September 2023, citizens who sent photo and video materials about offenses related to violation of the rules for the use of electricity, heat and gas will be rewarded with a monetary reward.

Photo and video materials about the offense must reflect:

an offense related to violation of the rules for the use of electrical, thermal energy and gas;

information about the person who committed the offense (if available);

address, geographical location of the place where the offense was committed, date and time.

When sending materials through the Uzenergo application, you must indicate:

FULL NAME. person, his address;

cell phone number, bank card number and email address.

Making any changes to photo and video materials is prohibited. It is allowed to trim the video in order to reduce its volume (should not exceed 120 seconds).

Depending on the qualification of the offense, the amount of monetary reward for the reporting person varies from 2% to 30% of the amount of the fine imposed on the offender.
