Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A minibus service will be launched from Tashkent to the Ferghana Valley, the press service of the Ministry of Transport announced.

In this regard, according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 6 December 2021 No. 738, on 1 May 2024, open tender for intercity-interregional routes will be held.

Lots up for tender:

JT-1150 Tashkent - Namangan in both directions;
JT-1151 Tashkent - Ferghana in both directions;
JT-1153 Tashkent - Andijan in both directions.

The following requirements apply for flights in this direction:

vehicles of category M2, having up to fourteen seats in addition to the driver, used when transporting passengers through the Kamchik pass;

however, during the daytime only from April 1 to November 1;

with a year of manufacture no more than 3 years old and without installed gas equipment;

with the presence of slowing equipment (mountain brake);

with an installed navigation device for tracking movement and a tachograph;

Drivers with at least 7 years of experience driving vehicles are allowed to carry out trips if they have a license to carry out activities for transporting passengers by road.
