Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 March, the opening of the international conference “Technical Day” took place. The event was organized jointly by Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Institute of Oil and Gas Technological Initiatives (INTI) of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the information service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

It was attended by representatives of large enterprises producing equipment in the energy, oil and gas and automation sectors.

Speakers at the opening of the conference expressed their opinion on the importance of applying standards at industrial enterprises developed by INTI.

It should be noted that INTI has developed more than 170 standards in the areas of equipment for use in production, pressure devices, rotary and pumping equipment, automation, building codes, etc.

At the conference, specialists from the institute gave presentations with detailed information about these standards.

At separate sessions, local and foreign experts discussed the implementation of international standards in Uzbekistan and their application at manufacturing enterprises, as well as their harmonization with technical regulatory documents.

Modern solutions were also discussed to increase demand in the domestic and foreign markets for geological exploration, technological equipment and logistics services produced and provided by large foreign enterprises specializing in the fields of oil and gas, energy and automation.

As part of the first day of the conference, a Memorandum was signed between Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Institute of Standards of Uzbekistan and INTI on the development of standardization and conformity assessment in the oil and gas sector.
