Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of representatives of the National PR Center under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and the Youth Association of Uzbekistan in Japan was held on 26 April.
During the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of tourism and the further promotion of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Japan.
This agreement was developed and signed within the framework of the Road Map for Working with Japan, which implies an accelerated development of bilateral relations in the tourism industry of the two countries.
In particular, the parties agreed to jointly participate in exhibitions, conferences and symposia organized in the field of tourism in the two countries, exchange of experience of leading experts and specialists of the tourist industry and mutual cooperation in the field of information and materials of the tourist potential of Uzbekistan and Japan.
Also, according to the Memorandum, the National PR-Center will provide the Youth Association of Uzbekistan in Japan with materials demonstrating the tourism potential of the Republic (posters, photos, videos and other materials) for further distribution to the Japanese public.
