Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 June, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Chairman of the Committee for International Reporting Standards on Mineral Resources (CRIRSCO) Garth Kirkham.

During the meeting, Uzbekistan’s efforts to join CRIRSCO and areas of cooperation with this organization were discussed.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the ministry and CRIRSCO aimed at improving the reporting of exploration results, mineral resources and mineral reserves.
