Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today’s development requires the development of new projects and ideas in all areas, especially in the field of information technology. The field of activity, where there is knowledge, aspiration, creation, implementation and efficiency, will flourish, develop and, most importantly, contribute to the development of the country.

The same goals were reflected in the memorandum of cooperation signed on 26 January between the United Republican Processing Center (Uzcard) and the Center for e-Government Project Management. The main purpose of the memorandum is cooperation in the development of the digital economy, e-government and financial technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The signing of the memorandum was attended by the General Director of the United Republican Processing Center Farrukh Ziyayev, the head of the e-Government Project Management Center Bahrom Ziyayev and representatives of both parties.

Within the framework of this Memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the creation of a wide range of opportunities for the provision of state and digital financial services to individuals and legal entities. In order to increase the share of electronic public services provided through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services (EPIGU), the project provides for the expansion of payment for services, the introduction of technological solutions for information exchange. 

In addition, the parties reached agreements in the development of the digital economy, e-commerce, the organization of the exchange of necessary information to provide online services to the population and business entities and the implementation of joint projects in promising areas of information technology.

Close cooperation between organizations in the above areas will serve as the basis for the creation of new amenities and services for residents and entrepreneurs of our country.
