Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting khokim of Tashkent Bakhtiyor Rakhmonov met with an official delegation headed by the General Director of the Russian company Mering Engineering Company Mikhail Nagaytsev.

The meeting discussed the conduct of an energy audit in the system of electrical networks in Tashkent.

Informing that the winter of 2022-2023, especially the abnormal January cold, caused a number of problems in engineering networks, Bakhtiyor Rakhmanov drew attention to the fact that the summer is expected to be very hot. He emphasized the importance of the readiness of engineering networks for uninterrupted operation in adverse weather conditions and mentioned the systematic work being carried out in this direction. In particular, in some places it is planned to build additional substations, lay additional gas pipelines and electric cables.

Emphasizing the great experience of the Mering Engineering Company, Bakhtiyor Rakhmonov offered cooperation in conducting an energy audit in the power grids of the Chilanzar, Uchtepa and Shaykhantakhur districts of the capital, where there were numerous interruptions in power supply, as well as in other works in this direction.

The parties exchanged views on mutual cooperation and discussed in detail the upcoming work.
