Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 February, the acting khokim of Tashkent Bakhtiyor Rakhmonov, with the participation of acting deputy khokim of the city Sh. Rakhimjonov and heads of organizations responsible for the public utilities sector, met with the director of the Project Bureau for Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Solutions of Rosatom Corporation Yuri Mishin.

The parties discussed in detail the issues of improving the electricity and heat supply of the capital, preventing serious interruptions in the system and modernizing the utility infrastructure in general.

Bakhtiyor Rakhmonov paid attention to the situation in the electric power system of Tashkent, referring to the implemented and planned work, and made a proposal for promising cooperation with Rosatom.

Yuri Mishin emphasized the possibility of conducting an effective inventory in system organizations, applying modern methods and technologies in the workflow, and noted that positive results can be achieved through the joint work of both parties, and soon a working group consisting of the necessary specialists will be sent to Tashkent.

During the meeting, the parties considered the directions and prospects for mutual cooperation.
