Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 13 June 2023, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar Hassan Hamza Hashim.

During the meeting, prospects for the development of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar were discussed.

Hasan Hamza Hashim expressed readiness to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and stressed that Qatar is interested in investing in the economy of Uzbekistan.

Davron Vakhabov expressed gratitude for Qatar’s interest in developing economic relations with Uzbekistan and stressed that Uzbekistan is ready for cooperation in various sectors of the economy, in particular, in the textile industry.

This meeting was another step towards strengthening economic relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar. The parties expressed interest in the further development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields of the economy and in achieving mutually beneficial results.
