A meeting with representatives of the Singapore-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry takes place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 October, as part of the visit of the Singaporean delegation of the Land Transport Authority to Uzbekistan, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan between the Deputy Chairman of the CCI Jahongir Mamajanov and the President of the Singapore-Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( SMCCI) Farid Khan.

The Singapore-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in 1956, is an independent non-profit organization. Plays an active role in representing the interests of the local Malay business community. As of January 2022, 711 companies are members of the SMCCI.

Jahongir Mamadjanov provided detailed information on the modern economic development of the republic, its investment potential and new opportunities for Singaporean companies in the development of tourism infrastructure and its services, as well as the prospects for cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries.

Following the meeting, Farid Khan emphasized the great interest of Singapore’s business circles and, in particular, SMCCI member companies in establishing long-term partnerships with representatives of industry associations and private circles in Uzbekistan.
