Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with the delegation of the French Development Agency (AfD) was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the strategy and defined tasks of the French Development Agency for Uzbekistan. Discussions were also held on current and prospective projects of AfD.

In addition, negotiations on the "Green" economy support program (Green PBL) were held. The parties emphasized the need to further activate mutually reliable relations in this direction as well. Issues of implementation of projects on drinking water, improvement of energy efficiency in buildings and urbanization were also considered.

In addition, opinions were exchanged on the Tashkent-Samarkand railway project, and a number of suggestions and comments were made. It was emphasized that the number of projects implemented in various sectors of the economy by the government of Uzbekistan together with the FDA is increasing and the quality is improving.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to further develop cooperation and intensify consultations on planned projects.
