Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 2 February 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting via video conference with the Chairman of the Canadian-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce Gilles Breton.

During the meeting, the prospects for attracting leading Canadian companies to participate in the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan were discussed. 

Gilles Breton expressed his readiness to assist the Uzbek side in establishing direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries, as well as organizing events to present the economic potential and investment climate of Uzbekistan to Canadian business.

The Canadian-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce unites more than 100 Canadian companies and enterprises doing business in the CIS market.
