Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to fulfill the tasks set out in the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5687 from 7 March 2019 and No. UP-6003 from 2 June 2020, within the framework of the World Bank project "Improving Institutional Capacity", experts from the consulting company "Whiteshield Partners" to analyze the position of our country in the world rankings and improving the mechanisms for working with these ratings and indices, as well as developing an appropriate long-term strategy based on the analysis of problems and shortcomings.

On 3 October, the Ministry held a meeting with Deputy Finance Minister Odilbek Isakov, representatives of Whiteshield Partners led by the team leader and project manager Antonio Somma, as well as employees of ministries and agencies responsible for working with ratings and indexes. 

Whiteshield Partners held a report presentation on the first stage – the analysis of our country's place in world rankings and indices.

Issues related to the second stage were discussed – the company's development of a draft strategy for international ratings and indices, as well as a roadmap for its implementation.
