Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 October, representatives of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs MUSIAD of Azerbaijan visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan F. Toshpulatov, as well as representatives of large business communities of the two countries.

In recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have received a significant impetus for development, rising to the level of strategic partnership. There is not a single sphere of interaction that would remain out of sight of our countries.

Mentioning the trade and economic cooperation between our countries, it is worth noting that the trade turnover in 2021 made up US$118.7 million (compared to 2020, an increase of + 41.8%), including exports - US$75.8 million (+ 39.9%), imports - US$42.9 million (+45.3%).

During the meeting between the two organizations, an exchange of views took place on the development of existing cooperation, the expansion of relations and the implementation of joint projects.

In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to take an active part in the development of partnerships between our organizations, as well as to assist the business community of our countries in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.
