Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 5 April 2023, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with a delegation of Qingdao Wanlin Kangyang Industry Group Co., Ltd to discuss the project to create an industrial park for the food industry and logistics Wanlin Group, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of establishing a complete onion growing line, from sowing to finished products, oriented for export to various countries of the world.

According to the Chinese side, direct investments in the amount of US$100 million will be invested in this project within 5 years.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish cooperation within the framework of a pilot project in the Syrdarya region.
