Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States, the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, met with representatives of the Uzbek diaspora as part of their visit to the Global Digital Summit-2024. This was reported by the IT Park press service.

The meeting was attended by compatriots, representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in such large companies as Accenture, Amazon, Google, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, InSayn Tech, Wells Fargo, etc.

The delegation presented the IT Park Uzbekistan Ambassadors program, aimed at promoting Uzbekistan as an outsourcing center for IT, BPO and KPO services in the global market.

The program will allow compatriots abroad to attract large companies specializing in the export of IT services and business process outsourcing to Uzbekistan, to promote the creation of new jobs and the development of IT infrastructure in the country.

The main goal of the program is to increase the export of IT services to $5 billion by 2030 as part of the Digital Uzbekistan-2030 strategy.

Preferential programs for IT and outsourcing companies were also presented, such as Zero Risk and Regional HQ, which reduce risks when creating representative offices in Uzbekistan. The project "ENTERPRISE UZBEKISTAN" - an international center for digital technologies in IT Park, starting its activities on 1 June 2024, was also presented.

During the open dialogue at the meeting, the dynamics of the development of the IT sector, government reforms and programs to support the private sector were discussed.
