Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the annual consultations on Article IV of the International Monetary Fund agreements, the IMF delegation led by Yasser Abdih met with the leadership of the Central Bank.

During the meeting, the latest economic changes in our country, the implemented monetary policy, and the current situation in the banking sector were discussed.

In particular, the leadership of the Central Bank provided information on the latest changes in monetary and macroprudential policies based on the current macroeconomic situation.

During this mission, the IMF is expected to hold meetings with a number of ministries and departments, as well as commercial banks.
