A meeting takes place with the Secretary General of the organization TURKSOY

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism between First Deputy Minister Ulugbek Agzamov and Secretary General of the TURKSOY organization Sultan Raev.

From 26 June to 19 June, the Palace of International Conferences in Tashkent will host the "Days of Turkish Culture" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY. It is planned that a number of artists from member countries of the organization will also take part in it. 

A number of exhibitions dedicated to the culture of the Turkic world will also be organized at the event, such as the "Turksoy Photo Exhibition", "The Exhibition of Paintings of the Turkic World", "The Exhibition of Applied Art of the Masters of the Turkic World", "The Exhibition of Turkish Publications", "The Exhibition of National Costumes of the Turkic World". In addition, cultural and entertainment events will be organized with the participation of artists from the member states of the TURKSOY organization.

It should be noted that at the meeting, together with the khokimiyat of Ferghana region, a roadmap for international events for the period up to 2023 was developed.

Also, at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, a meeting was held between the Deputy Khokim of Ferghana region, a graduate of the University of Oriental Studies Khurshid Akhmedov and the Secretary General of the TURKSOY organization.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the university and the organization were discussed. At the same time, proposals were made for the further development of international scientific and practical conferences held in the Fergana region.

In addition, this year, the TURKSOY organization at the university considered the issues of opening a TURKSOY office.

TURKSOY was founded in 1993 as a result of an agreement between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey. Later, other countries joined the organization as observers.

The purpose of the Turkish organization is to strengthen the spiritual closeness and fraternal unity of the Turkic peoples, to introduce Turkic culture to the world and pass on its traditions to future generations.
