Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 May, the nineteenth meeting of the chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the SCO member states will be held in Tashkent.

The event will be attended by delegations of the Supreme Courts of the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting will also be attended by representatives of the Supreme Court of the SCO observer country - the Republic of Belarus, as well as representatives of the SCO Secretariat and the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure.

During the event, a number of topical issues will be considered aimed at further enhancing cooperation between the Supreme Courts of the SCO member states in the field of ensuring the rule of law, as well as protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.
