A Malaysian company to open a network of gas stations in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the founder and CEO of FIVE Petroleum Malaysia, King Lim Chin Fui, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed investment opportunities in Uzbekistan and the implementation of projects in the Samarkand region. The Malaysian entrepreneur expressed readiness to collaborate with local beverage producers and supply them with aluminum packaging.

An agreement was also reached to launch a project to create a network of gas stations in Tashkent, with subsequent expansion to other regions of the country. The stations will be equipped with modern facilities.

It was decided at the meeting to organize a visit of the company’s delegation to Uzbekistan next month.

FIVE Petroleum Malaysia, founded in 2020, manages over 110 gas stations across Malaysia and owns 60 percent of BHPetrol, which operates more than 400 stations.
