Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The development of a transport macromodel of the city of Bukhara has been completed, which made it possible to accurately calculate transport loads on the city streets. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

This model became the basis for assessing the effectiveness of the proposed solutions within the framework of the master plan for the development of urban transport.

The initiative to develop the model was taken in response to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 16 February 2023 No. PP-59, aimed at reforming the public transport system.

The macro-model is designed to ensure scientifically based development of the transport system in the region, as well as to meet the growing needs of the population for effective transport services for periods of 3, 5 and 10 years.
