Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 10 to 13 December, the Republican Intersectoral Industrial Fair (RMPY) is being held in Tashkent, organized with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, and the Tashkent city administration.
The fair, a key platform for developing industrial cooperation, has brought together 4,627 companies showcasing over 6,000 types of products from various sectors.
This year’s fair features more than 180 new locally produced goods that can compete with imports. A separate section has been allocated for companies working with people with disabilities, with over 43 companies displaying 350 products. Additionally, 2,158 initiatives with a total investment volume of 80 trillion soums until 2025 have been presented, aimed at developing industrial cooperation and exports.
According to preliminary data from the organizers, the fair is expected to result in the signing of about 2,700 agreements worth 6.5 trillion soums.
Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov emphasized the significance of the fair for modernizing industrial potential, creating jobs, and fostering business development. The RMPY promotes dialogue between the government, businesses, and investors, serving as an important indicator of Uzbekistan’s economic growth.
