Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to further develop and increase the efficiency of using the tourist potential of Bostanlyk district, create favorable conditions for the wide attraction of local and foreign tourists to the region, develop modern and high-quality infrastructure from JV LLC "Amirsoy" in December 2019, the first stage of construction of the ski resort complex "Amirsoy" was completed, including the arrangement of cable cars, ski slopes and accommodation facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 27 August 2020 No. 6053 "On measures to accelerate the development of tourism by introducing a special management procedure in Bostanlyk district", the task was set to implement the second stage of construction of the Amirsoy ski resort complex.
For this purpose, the Government issued a resolution on 16 September 2020 No. 414-R on the implementation of the second stage of the project for the construction of the ski resort "Amirsoy" at the expense of the initiator and foreign financial institutions attracted by the initiator, for a total amount of 75 million euros.
The project includes construction:
- four restaurants with 2,400 seats;
- "4 star" hotel with 105 rooms;
- "5 star" hotel with 101 rooms;
- multi-storey car park for 500 cars with offices and retail space;
- cable car and two ski lifts, as well as 16.8 km of ski slopes;
- a multifunctional center with rental points for ski, mountain sports and other equipment;
- pools and grounds for organizing seasonal types of recreation and leisure.
Also, to ensure the timely implementation of this project aimed at increasing the tourist attractiveness of the country, the State will provide assistance in the construction of the necessary infrastructure and communications.
The initiator of the project, in accordance with the established procedure, is responsible for the preservation of unique valuable natural objects and complexes, the genetic fund of plants and animals, as well as prevention of the negative impact of activities on the environment, strict observance of the requirements of environmental legislation in the process of construction and installation work and further operation of the project.
