Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A friendship group “Bulgaria-Uzbekistan” consisting of 21 members has been created under the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.

There is also an interparliamentary group of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation with the People’s Assembly of Bulgaria.

It should be noted that in recent years, as a result of the political will of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria and rational policies implemented with an eye to the future, multifaceted cooperative relations between our countries have risen to a new level, and the friendship of our peoples has strengthened. This, in turn, is an important factor in intensifying inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The press service of the Legislative Chamber notes that now interparliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria will rise to a new qualitative level, meetings in a practical spirit will be continued consistently.
