Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 December, the Louvre Museum hosted a presentation of the film "Uzbekistan: a timeless journey through Central Asia", created by the Art and Culture Development Foundation together with the French film company Les Poissons Volants, the ARTE TV channel and the Louvre Museum.
The documentary attracted great interest among the European audience, taking viewers from Alexander the Great to the reign of the Temurids, introducing them to the rich history, culture and customs of Uzbekistan.
The film, created by director Zhivko Darakchiev and screenwriter Yves Nilli, was presented as part of the cultural program of the large-scale exhibition of Uzbekistan “The splendor of the oases of Uzbekistan. At the crossroads of caravan routes”, which will last until 6 March 2023.
