A delegation of Uzbekistan visits Yerevan to exchange experience with colleagues from the banking system of Armenia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of representatives from the Central Bank, commercial banks and a credit bureau from 23 to 27 September visited Yerevan to exchange experience with colleagues from the banking system of the Republic of Armenia

During the weekly visit, meetings were organized with the Central Bank, the Credit Bureau, the Office of the Financial Mediator and the leading commercial banks of the Republic of Armenia.

In particular, at the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the sides discussed issues of regulation and supervision of credit institutions, maintaining a register and exchange of credit information, protecting consumer rights and financial education of the population.

At the office of the financial mediator, whose activities are related to the settlement of disputes between consumers of financial services and their suppliers, meetings were held with the management, as well as employees of the departments to familiarize themselves in detail with the process of organizing work at each stage.

During the meetings with Araratbank, VTB Bank, Ameriabank and ID Bank, in the format of discussions, issues such as:

bank organizational structure and corporate governance;

strategic planning and risk appetite for retail lending;

the process of accepting deposits and retail lending;

process of monitoring and repayment of non-performing loans;

scoring models of banks;

risk management and internal control;

financial products for SMEs;

digital innovation.

At the same time, field trips were organized to the branches of each of the above commercial banks, where, on a practical example, the principles of work of the branches were discussed.
