Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Members of the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin Abdullayev visited the production facilities of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) as part of a working visit to the Russian Federation.

During the visit, the delegation of Uzbekneftegaz visited the Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ) located in the city of Polevskoy, Sverdlovsk Region, and the Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant (ChTPZ) in the city of Chelyabinsk.

Representatives of the delegation at the Seversky Pipe Plant got acquainted with the equipment of the electric steel-smelting and pipe-rolling shops, where seamless steel pipes are produced for energy, mechanical engineering and other industries.

During the visit to the Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant, the workshop for the production of large-diameter welded pipes and the work carried out in the workshop were studied.

A visit to the production sites of the plants was organized as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement that was signed between TMK and Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 2021.

In it, the parties agreed on the principles of long-term cooperation and joint work to find promising areas for the application of TMK's pipe products.

It should be noted that PJSC TMK was founded in 2001 and is the leading steel pipe manufacturer in Russia, one of the three global leaders in the pipe business. An agreement was also reached with this company on the supply of various types of pipelines.
