Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation from the Art and Culture Development Foundation visited the city of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, which houses the Ithra Institute, a leading cultural institution established in 2018 that supports and develops talent and intercultural initiatives.
Among other things, the Ithra Institute is actively supporting volunteering and training young professionals in the field of culture and art, and also has 4 museums with permanent and temporary collections of contemporary art and an extensive library with the best collections of works dedicated to culture and art.
The purpose of the meeting between the two institutions was a series of questions on the possible organization of joint exhibitions, the exchange of experience in organizing residences for artists and craftsmen, as well as the discussion of various ways to develop and support the field of applied arts and crafts.
The talks were led by Executive Director of Art and Culture Development Foundation Gayane Umerova, Director of Ithra Abdullah Al-Rashid and Head of the Strategy and Partnership Department Fatma Al-Rashid.
