Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21-22 December, a delegation of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the visit, the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Entrepreneurs took place with the participation of business representatives of the two countries, separate meetings with the Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salmon Al-Saud, the Minister of Investment Kholid Al-Falih, as well as heads of large companies.

During the discussions, special attention was paid to the development of “green energy”, establishing e-commerce in order to increase mutual trade turnover, as well as expanding cooperation in the fields of transport, air transportation, healthcare, digital technologies and investment.

As part of the visit, on 21 December, a meeting of the Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia Business Council was held with the participation of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vakhabov.
