Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the official visit of the Uzbek delegation to Japan in March, a business mission of a textile delegation led by the Uztekstilprom Association is planned. The purpose of the visit is to further strengthen cooperation and attract the attention of Japanese investors to new projects.

The heads of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan will hold a number of meetings and discuss a wide range of issues with Japanese officials. In addition, it is planned to involve large Japanese companies in the discussion of promising joint projects.

Particular attention is paid to the textile industry. The Uzbek delegation, representing the Uztekstilprom Association and key companies in the industry, intends to hold a series of meetings in B2B format with Japanese partners. Key topics of discussion include increasing exports of organic cotton yarn, home textiles and ready-made knitwear for Japanese manufacturers, brands and retailers.

The upcoming Uzbek-Japanese business forum will become a platform for presenting new prospects and opportunities, including in the field of textiles, strengthening ties between the two countries and supporting the further development of this important area of cooperation.
