Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 June, the International Business Forum of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Issyk-Kul.

The forum was attended by delegations from Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of observer countries: Hungary, Northern Cyprus and the European Chambers.

The participants discussed issues of attracting investments and implementing joint projects.

From Uzbekistan, more than 50 representatives of the business community were present at the forum under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jamshed Urakov.

At the official opening ceremony, the heads of delegations noted that multifaceted cooperation between the participating countries is rapidly developing. They emphasized the growth in the number of joint investment projects and the dynamics of establishing long-term trade relations.

During the discussions, the participants exchanged views on the directions for further development of economic cooperation between the Turkic countries and the achievement of practical agreements.

At the B2B negotiations, representatives of the business community were able to establish new contacts, discuss practical aspects and plans for joint initiatives.
