Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Badriddin Abidov, took part in the annual forum of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) “Eurasia Week”, which was held in Paris.

At the forum, current trends in the economic development of Eurasian countries were presented, and issues of improving the investment climate, entrepreneurship development, digitalization, transition to a green economy and expanding transport and logistics corridors in the region were discussed.

As part of Uzbek-French political consultations and a joint round table with French companies, MEDEF International discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment partnerships.

The visit also included meetings with OECD Secretary General M. Cormann and other senior representatives of the organization.
