Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the 48th international symposium dedicated to the Hajj 2024 season, held in Mecca (Saudi Arabia), Dunyo news agency reports.

About 200 delegates from more than 50 countries took part in the conference. Dozens of scientific and educational lectures were heard, various innovative projects were presented, and new types of services were demonstrated.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, a special film was shown on improving services for pilgrims, with a special emphasis on interstate cooperation and opportunities created by officials of the Two Holy Mosques for pilgrims from around the world during the Hajj 2024 season.

The speakers spoke in detail about the laws of the Hajj, the conditions created for pilgrims, as well as new projects that are being implemented to conduct the season at a high level.

Based on the results of the symposium, appropriate decisions will be made based on proposals and recommendations.
