Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 November 2023, a meeting of railway operators of the participating countries on the international multimodal route “Countries of the Asia-Pacific region-China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey-Europe” took place in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

It was reported that an online digital platform has been developed and launched that will improve the efficiency of cargo transportation along the corridor and streamline operations. This platform will allow to reduce cargo delivery times, track containers and attract additional cargo. Along with operators, cargo owners will be able to benefit from the project.

It should be noted that the international multimodal transport route “CASCA+” was created in 2019 with the participation of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and the state railway administrations of other countries participating in the route.
