Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – At the 46th session of UNESCO held in New Delhi, a meeting took place between members of the Uzbekistan delegation and specialists from ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites).

During the event, discussions focused on the construction of the cultural and ethnographic park "Baqiy Bukhoro" and the preservation of Shakhrisabz in the World Heritage List. Participants were thoroughly briefed on ongoing projects and received recommendations for the report that will be submitted to UNESCO.

Special attention was given to preventing damage to historical and cultural sites during construction and renovation works. 

Representatives from the French architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés were also present at the meeting. They emphasized the importance of ensuring that new constructions are carried out without harming the environment.
