A delegation of Uzbekistan heads to Sochi
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Uzbekistan led by department of international relations of National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan (NOC) Bakhodir Husankhodjaev left for Sochi (Russia) on 3 February to participate at Winter Olympic Games.
According to the NOC, the second part of the delegation will leave to Sochi on 4 February 2013.
Ksenya Grigoryeva and Artem Voronov (slalom and giant slalom), and Misha Ge (figure skating) will represent Uzbekistan at the Sochi Games.
Artem Voronov and Misha Ge will participate in Olympic Games for the first time. Ksenya Grigoryeva competed in Vancouver Games in 2010.
On 5 February, the flag of Uzbekistan will be raised at Olympic Village.
