Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Oybek Kasimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Azizjon Kamilov is on a working visit to China, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to the NOC, the initial address of the delegation’s visit was one of the major projects in the world of sports, the Beijing National Skating Center. The building, built for the 2022 Winter Olympics, can be called one of the masterpieces of not only Chinese, but also world sports. During the visit, local experts spoke in detail about the latest achievements in the construction of sports facilities in the country.

The officials met with the management of China CAMC Engineering, which is responsible for the construction of the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games. In the last conversation with the General Director of the organization, Li Haixing, such topics as the construction work carried out in the Olympic village, as well as further cooperation, were touched upon.

During the visit to Beijing, the delegation also visited the office of CNSG (China National Sports Group) companies and held meetings with the leadership of the Organization. This Company offered its services in administrative and organizational work during the games. Both meetings discussed new aspects of cooperation and exchanged views on plans for the future.

The visit of the delegation to China continues. Officials are now heading to Chengdu, the city that recently hosted the World Summer Universiade, and are examining the infrastructure there.
