A delegation of Uzbekistan gets acquainted with the advanced experience of China in the energy sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov visited the headquarters of Huawei in Shenjen (PRC) to get acquainted with innovative solutions, exchange experience and study the experience of introducing renewable energy sources, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the delegation toured the Huawei demonstration center, the production facilities of Huawei Digital Power division for the production of inverters and batteries for solar power plants for various purposes.

“Huawei already has experience in implementing and participating in projects to introduce photovoltaic technology and energy storage for large industrial power plants, commercial and industrial sectors, as well as domestic solar power plants in Uzbekistan in cooperation with partners. Today we have a chance to visually present the experience of Huawei Digital Power for the representatives of the delegation and discuss even more opportunities for an early transition to green energy, given the firm policy of the country's leadership to increase the use of renewable energy sources,” said Chen Jiakai, Director of Huawei in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, a meeting was held with Sun Fuyu, President of the Huawei Global Energy Business Unit, at which issues of cooperation in increasing the integration of digital and energy technologies in Uzbekistan, expanding opportunities for ecosystem participants and entrepreneurs in the production, implementation and development of green energy were discussed. , developing the civil energy sector and electrifying large enterprises through solar energy, accelerating the process of achieving carbon neutrality.
